I have listed below some symptoms you might experience if you have a cyst burst on you.
If you do experience any of these symptoms, please get immediate medical attention. Ovarian Cyst Ruptured
Having had first hand experience with an ovarian cyst that reached the point where it ruptured while I was driving my car, I can emphatically state that you do not want to go through what I did. The doctors will tell you that you can treat the pain associated with these cysts by taking ibuprofen or tylenol and that you can limit the risk of your ovarian cyst bursting if you will just limit strenuous activities that can twist or strain your ovary.
Well, let me tell you that I did not consider my normal activities to be strenuous. If by strenuous activity they mean picking up my kids, or carrying a laundry basket or grocery bags, or cleaning my bathrooms or vacuuming my floors, then I was guilty as charged. I was certainly not going to sit on my backside and do nothing.

If your doctor is like mine, they will tell you that 85 percent of ovarian cysts will take care of themselves in one to two menstrual cycles and that the best thing to do is to wait and see if they go away by themselves. I personally think that this is the wrong thing to do. It was for me!
I recommend that you educate yourself on the ways of treating and preventing your ovarian cysts from returning – ever! Don’t let yourself be lulled into thinking that they will go away by themselves. Maybe they will the first couple of times you get them, but each time you do, you risk having one of the cysts rupture while you’re doing something and then things get more complicated.
My ovarian cyst rupture was exceedingly painful. I cannot imagine anyone not knowing that something bad had happened to them, but I guess there have been women who did not know that they had an ovarian cyst rupture. Just in case you might be one of those women with some super human pain tolerance, I have listed below some symptoms you might experience if you have a cyst burst on you.
If you do experience any of these symptoms, please get immediate medical attention. This is not something to be taken lightly.
* Severe lower abdominal or pelvic pain – mine was like a hot knife stabbing me!
* Unexplained shoulder pain combined with abdominal pain
* Fainting – this is especially scary when you are driving your car!
* Persistent nausea and vomiting
* Excessive thirst or urination
* Weakness, dizziness, or faintness, especially from standing – yep, been there done that.
* High or low blood pressure unrelated to medications
* Persistent fever
Don’t think that just because you do not have bleeding or a discharge from your vagina that you have not had an ovarian cyst rupture. In most cases the rupture will cause internal bleeding into your abdomen and you will not see any visible signs.
If, like me, you let your cyst get to the point where you think it might have ruptured, don’t wait. Don’t second guess yourself, do not pass go, do not collect $200. Get yourself immediately to an emergency room to be examined and diagnosed.
Hopefully, you have not reached this point yet. If that is the case, let me tell you that there is something you can do to eliminate your cysts once an for all. I have been cyst free for just over 2 years now, and it is all due to following the information I discovered at a website – OvarianCystCures .
